Who we are
Kerryn (pronounced “kyr-in”) – VD and Brew Master.
All the way from Nelson, New Zealand, he has brought with him expertise of his local hop farms. We make a lot of NZ style IPA’s, and we do it damn well, thanks to his passion for tropical, fruity hops varieties from Nelson and beyond.
Kerryn is a fully hands-on boss with his finger in all the pies, making tables and bars, fixing pumps, installing mechanical systems, sometimes even running the company!
Yoko - Production Lead
All the way from Japan, Yoko is a fully qualified brewer who brings excellence and consistency to our processes. With an eye for detail and rigorous control she has increased our quality and performance.
One of our most popular beers, Akatsuki, is her creation. A beautifully balanced, light, rice lager which has won awards and beaten competition from Japanese breweries.
Daniel - Sommelier
All the way from Färentuna, Ekerö, Daniel is our expert in taste. As a fully qualified sommelier with a special interest for beer, of course, he leads our beer tastings and brewery tours.
With an extensive knowledge of the beer process, he enjoys presenting our products and educating your palate about the intricate differences between beer styles.
Anders – Brew Master.
All the way from Gotland, Sweden, Anders is a traditionalist, hands-on brewer with in-depth knowledge of the brewing process.
His own brewery Ädelsö, which he ran for 10 years, has joined with us giving us a wealth of inspiration and skills to make the best beer possible.
Anders is an accomplished bassist and is often on tour with various Swedish legends delighting crowds up and down the country.
Brad – Head Brewer.
All the way from Perth, Australia, Brad has a passion for all beer styles. His nuance and dedication are apparent every day he is on the job.
Brad has introduced a ‘Single Batch Brewers Choice’ where we make a single keg of exciting and unusual beer which is only available at Taproom, Ekerö.
James - Branding and more..
All the way from Dublin, Ireland, James can be found at his desk thinking up new labels or social media posts. Unless he is out delivering our beers around Stockholm!
There is always something to be done at a busy brewery and James is always on hand to lend a hand. You’ll often find him behind the bar at the many events and shows that Ekerö Brygghus takes part in during the year.
